The Vhembe based Rastafarian solo-artist, Tendani Maiwashe, better known as Jah Soldiers urged his followers to worship and respect God in what they are doing, because with God everything good is possible.
Maiwashe (34) from Mbilwi-Makanga outside Thohoyandou has recently released an album, Nndededze, loosely meaning Guide me. According to him, the message of the album is that the community must trust God to guide them through their lives.
The album has nine tracks, with Pfunzo ndi ifa, Nndila ndi nthinhi and She wanna see me gone among the favourites.
“We know about God while we are young. As we get older, we tend to forget about Him and how important He should be in our lives. We should not try to run away from the reality that God is still in control of our lives, hence the title track, Nndededze,” he added.
Nndededze is his third album. In 2006 his debut album was named Thavha ndi nngana? and in 2010 he recorded the album Innocent Siblings.
He added that people should emulate what they have read in the Bible about Daniel, Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego, who received the grace from God to face the powers of the devil without any fear. All songs on the album were composed by Maiwashe.
It was recorded at Burning Shack Recording Studios and produced by Mulalo Mukwevho.
