The 24-year-old singer from Waterval, Clement “Clemour” Ngobeni, has reached the Top Eight stage of M-Net’s TV competition, The Voice South Africa.

Clemour received a standing ovation from coach Lira and Kahn after his dynamic and passionate rendition of South African Rock band Prime Circle’s hit song, She always gets what she wants.

The University of Johannesburg student indicated that he had a great time during Sunday’s performance. “I enjoyed the performance and I loved the song that I was performing,” said Clemour.

Following last Sunday’s show, the fate of Clemour and the other seven contestants are to be determined by the viewers’ votes.
