CR Production's House Warming Festival that took place at the Louis Trichardt Show Grounds a fortnight ago was a huge success and, according to the organisers, it provided an excellent platform for local musicians to showcase their talent.

Some of the artists that left music lovers crying for more include Prifix, Square pass, Mizo Phylll, Fizzy, Bundu and many more. The festival was attended by people from various communities in Limpopo and was marketed as an event aimed at showcasing the cultural diversity of Vhembe.

According to the chairperson of the organisers, Mr Rendani Mudau, the festival started last year and gained momentum in terms of participation and attendance, "despite not being taken seriously by some groups within the media sector". He added that they saw the event as "contributing to social cohesion and nation building, while entrenching our African identity through musical performances."

He added that it was at occasions like these where the district also celebrated the uniqueness of its culture.
