Joe Maweja and TTM in Tshakhuma derby

It will be another busy weekend for the teams affiliated to the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League. Seven matches will be played at various places throughout the province tomorrow afternoon, while the remaining one will be staged this evening.

Joe Maweja are determined to make Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) pay for what they did to them three weeks ago, when they meet at the Tshifulanani Stadium tomorrow. TTM booted Maweja out of the Nedbank Cup competition 1-0 at the Makwarela Stadium.

According to Maweja’s general manager, Mr Mukondi Nemavhulani, tomorrow will be payback time for TTM. He reiterated the fact that they had rectified all the mistakes that made them lose against TTM, saying nothing would stop them from collecting the maximum points tomorrow.

When he responded to that, the coach of TTM, Mr Lucky “King Mchichwa” Nelukau, stated that they would once again show Maweja that they were not in the ABC Motsepe League by default. TTM will be without their marksman, Rolivhuwa “Jali” Mukwevho. He saw red in their Nedbank Cup game against Lephalale Young Killers at the Makwarela Stadium last Saturday. On the other hand, Maweja’s demon midfielder, Khuliso Netshulu, will give the opposition defence a tough time, if given the chance.

Bellevue Winners Park will be away to collect points against Boyne Young Tigers at the Boyne Stadium. Great North FC will entertain Polokwane United at the Seshego Stadium and the Molemole Academy will travel to Mokopane, where they will play against Mokopane Ratanang at the Mahwelereng Stadium.

Lephalale Young Killers will host The Dolphins at the TT Cholo Stadium in Polokwane. Young Killers are still in shock after their 0-1 defeat at the hands of TTM last Saturday. Madridtas will have a date with Gawula Classic at the Lulekani Stadium, while Giyani Hotspurs and Polokwane United will lock horns at the Polokwane Rugby Fields.

Still serving a suspension: Rolivhuwa “Jali” Mukwevho of TTM.
