Wounded Leopards to face FC Cape Town

It remains to be seen whether Black Leopards will make FC Cape Town pay for the 0-2 defeat they suffered at the hands of University of Pretoria, when they meet in their NFD League match at the Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow.

FC Cape Town too are in mourning after losing 1-4 to Thanda Royal Zulu at the NNK Rugby Stadium in Cape Town last Saturday.

Black Leopards must, for two reasons, win the match at all cost. A win tomorrow will restore their pride after losing at home last Saturday. A victory against FC Cape Town will lift their title hopes. Lidoda Duvha will pin their hopes on Thembisani Nevhulamba, Mwape Musonda and Roggert Nyundu for goals, while their defenders, Marks Munyai, Dunga Munganga and Lebohang Mabotja, are expected to keep their danger area clean.

Leopards will fly to Cape Town next Wednesday, October 26, where they will meet Cape Town All Stars at the Athlone Stadium.

In the other NFD matches that will also be played tomorrow, Royal Eagles will take on Magezi FC at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg. Mthatha Bucks and Mbombela United will lock horns at the Mthatha Stadium.

Sunday will see University of Pretoria entertain Witbank Spurs at the Tuks Stadium in Pretoria. Jomo Cosmos will have a date with Cape Town All Stars at the Olën Park Stadium in Potchefstroom. Amazulu and Stellenbosch FC will rub shoulders at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban. Amazulu are still fresh from a 1-4 defeat at the hands of Jomo Cosmos.

Real Kings will be the visitors to Milano United at the Parow Park Stadium in Cape Town. The other fixtures for next Wednesday are: FC Cape Town vs Royal Eagles, Thanda Royal Zulu vs Milano United, Stellenbosch FC vs Jomo Cosmos, Mbombela United vs University of Pretoria, Magezi vs Santos and Real Kings vs Mthatha Bucks.
