Weekend Warrior, an initiative by Torre Automotive to join an outdoor 4x4 club, will be running a Mud Festival on 1 and 2 November at Zwart Kloof farm near Mookgophong.
Weekend Warrior incorporates the premium Torre Automotive brands of WARN winches, Hi-Lift Jacks, VisionX led lights and HDP shock absorbers. The sponsors include Safari Centre, Front Runner and LA Sport.

The festival will have 15 different 4x4 and 4x2 obstacles filled with mud and water over the 8km route and will include a mud skid pan, mud pool at the camp site and a dam where the mud can be  washed off. Other festivities include a beer garden, children’s play area, braai facilities and camping facilities. Prizes are valued at over 
R70 000.

The normal entrance fee is R250 per vehicle with up to four passengers and R300, including camping, payable at the entrance.
