The traditional leader of Tshidimbini village, Vhamusanda Vho Mulingoni Eric Tshivhase (53), better known as “Rambo” because of his prowess in various sporting codes, passed away last Saturday, 13 April.

Residents threaten with shutdown over roads

Communities from Harammbuda have threatened to embark on a full-blown shutdown of the area, should the Limpopo government fail to address their road problems amicably. The roads in question are the D3695 road from Tshandama to Ha-Khakhu and the D3674 from Matavhela to Tshixwadza.

Border fence contractors lose appeal

The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) has welcomed the judgment of the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA), which dismissed a special leave-to-appeal application brought by Caledon River Properties Pty Ltd and Profteam CC. These companies sought to challenge a decision of the High Court  (HC) and the Special Tribunal that stripped them of the profits earned from the construction of a mesh border fence between South Africa and Zimbabwe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
