The traditional leader of Tshidimbini village, Vhamusanda Vho Mulingoni Eric Tshivhase (53), better known as “Rambo” because of his prowess in various sporting codes, passed away last Saturday, 13 April.

A new traditional leader, Vhamusanda Vho Takalani Dion Tshivhase, was installed in Phiphidi village during a special ceremony held on 6 April.

Rialivhuwa Mulaudzi (17), a Grade 11 learner from Lwamondo High School, and Sally Marikhele, a Grade 10 student from Nngweni High School (15), were crowned king and queen of the Mr and Miss Vhembe District High Schools Pageant. The annual beauty pageant took place at the Tshavhalovhedzi Zion Apostolic Church on 6 April.
