Wild experience with Vanessa

The award-winning Vanessa Mphanama mesmerised hundreds of fans as part of celebrating her gift of life and the journey of living in this world from a spiritual point of view. The event was termed the Wild Worship Experience with Vanessa Concert.

During the event that was held at Christ Vision in Mukula on 2 December, she belted out songs from her previous albums as well as unreleased material.

“There were a lot of supporting singers who also joined me on stage. I also want to thank each one of them for accepting the invitation and offering to be part of this event of great magnitude.”

Vanessa has two albums, entitled Untold Story (2013) and Ebenezer (2016). She won a best female award for Untold Story in the Tshivenda Music Awards (TSHIMA) and instantly cemented her name as a singer whose talent knows no boundaries.

A resident of Ngwenani ya ha Mapholi, Vanessa said that she loved music so much that she lived on it. She was inspired by her grandmother, Vho-Nyamutshagole Pharamela, who had an immeasurable love for music.

Tshifhiwa Given Mukwevho was born in 1984 in Madombidzha village, not far from Louis Trichardt in the Limpopo Province. After submitting articles for roughly a year for Limpopo Mirror's youth supplement, Makoya, he started writing for the main newspaper. He is a prolific writer who published his first book, titled A Traumatic Revenge in 2011. It focusses on life on the street and how to survive amidst poverty. His second book titled The Violent Gestures of Life was published in 2014.
