He writes about introspection and life-reinvention

For a resident of Thohoyandou, Nditsheni Joseph Nendauni, writing is a calling that he accepted from an early age.

Today he has penned his début motivational book, entitled How personal introspection can change your life.

“I was fortunate to be a bright learner at school, where I used to write things that motivated me,” he said. “Later, I always heard a voice that told me to write the book, and I eventually did it.”

He describes introspection as the process that one can undergo about everything in life and in any field, whether it be in sport, educational activities, traditional and cultural activities or any project one might be engaged in.

“I am talking about the process of self-reflection or examining one’s conscious thoughts and feelings,” he said. “Personal introspection helps to ensure that you become self-aware and live life with purpose to achieve your dreams.”

This is the process where one needs to be honest with oneself to help discover the true reflection about one's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, both within and outside of oneself.

“If this process is done well, it will reveal your hidden behaviour, habits, character, structure, lifestyle, attitude, sensitive issues and personality, but you need to acknowledge both positive and negative aspects of your life,” he said. “So, this is the book that will reinvent you in every area of your life and it will motivate you to bring the best out of you.”
