An upcoming local gospel artist from Ha-Mutsha, Lufuno Phalandwa (25), will be recording his debut album on 30 June at Ha-Mutsha Community Hall.

Phalandwa said that the album will be titled Midnight Hour Worship, because it will be filled with songs that worship the Almighty God. “It will have many beautiful songs,” he said. He is still working on some of the songs, but he plans on adding 17 titles to the album. “On the album I will feature gospel artists such as Khomotso Kgaugelo Kekana from Mokopane, the 2016 Rofhiwa Gospel Star Search winner Mogau Grace Nakana and Ngudo Praise,” he said.

He said the album was all about his worshiping God with all he has. “I will be thanking Him for the ministry of worship which He entrusted me with,” he added.

Phalandwa explained that he realised his talent for being an artist after he took third position in the Rofhiwa Manyaga Gospel Star Search competition in 2016. He is promising the fans to expect the presence of God to fill the hall. “We have a mixture of praise songs that will get the fans dancing,” he said.

The event is scheduled to start at 18:00. The tickets are available at Computicket, Shoprite and Shoprite Usave. For more information contact Lufuno on 0799351845.
