The launch of Tshamano S's second album, Ro ima Jordan, has the potential to bring a horde of artists and music lovers together for a day filled with music across genres.
The launch takes place at The Pentecostal Holiness Church at Magau village tomorrow (Saturday). It starts at 10:00 (until late).
This gospel singer, Tshamano S, born Tshamano Siphei, was introduced to the industry via her debut album, Zwonaka, in 2014. “The day has finally come, and I am happy that we are going to make it happen,” said an excited Tshamano S. “Music is part of my life – I sing about issues which concern the lives of people here on earth in order to encourage, inspire and motivate. I also sing as a way of worshipping and praising God.”
Ro ima Jordan comprises eight songs, namely U fariswa hanga, Zwonaka, Adonai, Ndi a ḓa zwino, Vha Mukhethwa, Mudzimu u hone, Nkhwaṱhise, and Ro ima Jordan. Tshamano’s is the kind of music that any good listener could pick up in ten years’ time from now and enjoy the sound and lyrics with fresh interest as if they were recorded and published in that future time.
The line-up includes artists such as Mboniseni Nemanenzhe, Charles and The Healer Boys, Bishop Dee, Peter Munyai, Gomba Gomba, Nditshe R, Nyambeni, Mbavhalelo MMM, Itani, Sharon, Mercy Masakona Madzivhandila, Sharon, Sammy Mutibi, Lucky M, Prince, Naphy M, Eddy, Seli M, Gingi, and Mbhanye Boys.
Tickets are available at R50 (general), R100 (VIP), and R10 (for children).

Tshifhiwa Given Mukwevho was born in 1984 in Madombidzha village, not far from Louis Trichardt in the Limpopo Province. After submitting articles for roughly a year for Limpopo Mirror's youth supplement, Makoya, he started writing for the main newspaper. With a successful roots-reggae album titled “Shandukani” to his name, Fhatuwani Richard Mashele is quickly becoming a household name in South African music. Better known as Jah Saint in music circles, Mashele believes that success does not come overnight and that one must work hard to earn it.
Khathutshelo Dzaga from Thohoyandou Block G, known as Khathu within music circles, has captivated her fans with her latest song, “Muvhonetsheli”. The song is a collaboration with Uber Black and features Racha Kill. The song is in Khathu’s familiar style, often described as a mixture of amapiano and Afro-beat.
“Music should help address societal issues that are affecting the community,” says house musician Meshack Nemakhavhani, better known as Mesh De Vocalist. The musician from Tshaulu Buluni has released a new album, titled “Mbilu I Khombo”.
Musician and actor Mpho Majiga is quickly emerging as the next king of disco on the South African music scene. The position became available after the passing of the late, self-styled king of disco, the legendary Dan Tshanda.
