A pharmacist and motivational speaker, Mr Nhlanhla Given Mafarafara, has just published yet another book, Step to the next level, which encourages people get up and do something, in contrast to sitting down and doing nothing.
This is his second publication after Relentless youth - Reaching beyond the limits.
In the new book, Mafarafara tackles issues of vision and goals, where he emphasises that vision drives one to find and develop personal development systems, methods and solutions to increase one's productivity, performance and personal fulfilment.
“That kind of mindset is positive, and it is what drives me to write, speak and coach,” he said. “I believe I am a thinking leader with a vision to transform ordinary people into extraordinary, innovative, solution-oriented global citizens.”
In the book, he teaches people to identify their critical personal development needs within eight life areas: social life, health, personal development, finance, career, spiritual, and emotions.
“This is my second book, and it is a personal development book with a guided step-by-step action guide to improved personal performance, effective goal setting, monitoring and evaluation,” he said. “The book offers systematic methods for identifying key performance areas within your purpose and passion or strong points. It guides the reader into setting and developing personal performance standards and developing your personal board of directors who will act as your accountability partners.”
The author urges people to plan and develop personal goals through identifying their strong and weak belief system and values that either limit or uplift them. He argues that one first needs to become aware of one’s capabilities and then become the person fit for their goals and ambitions.
“I believe that people sometimes become comfortable with the illusion of success while they know that in their private space, they are dealing with wounds of failure,” said a resident of Nkuzana village. “This book will help you divorce a fake life from genuine living.”
