Hip hop artist Lee'Muvenda has dropped a new album - a package of verses that all translate into superb music worth enjoying.
The album is entitled Ronewa and it has 12 tracks, which are Ndivhuwo, Vhotuwaho, Mulaedza, Thusanani, Asi Vhufhelo, True Love, Nwana, Ngasi Hangwe, Mbilu Yanga, Zwichi Vhavha, Mbidzo, and Baby Mama.
He wrote most of the songs, and he feels that he has a great connection to his music because of that. “I express my feelings through music and reflect on social issues,” he said. “Give me a microphone and I will show you flames. As Africans, we celebrate life through music.”
He has worked with other talented and celebrated wordsmiths such as Romeo, Meskay, Vp, Adolf, Comfort'Zone, Razie Kay, King Asahf and Muneiwa.
His musical journey began on the school grounds during break and after school, where his fellow pupils showed an interest in his music. “Now I have come to realise that my music is dope,” he said.
“Writing my own lyrics and finding my voice were not enough,” he said. “I had to keep my music true to life, because I am not doing my music for an unresponsive audience, but people who know what good music is.”
A resident at Tshiozwi village, he was born Ronewa Given Muneri and grew up listening to both local and international hip-hop artists, all of whom had helped in shaping his singing career.

Tshifhiwa Given Mukwevho was born in 1984 in Madombidzha village, not far from Louis Trichardt in the Limpopo Province. After submitting articles for roughly a year for Limpopo Mirror's youth supplement, Makoya, he started writing for the main newspaper. With a successful roots-reggae album titled “Shandukani” to his name, Fhatuwani Richard Mashele is quickly becoming a household name in South African music. Better known as Jah Saint in music circles, Mashele believes that success does not come overnight and that one must work hard to earn it.
Khathutshelo Dzaga from Thohoyandou Block G, known as Khathu within music circles, has captivated her fans with her latest song, “Muvhonetsheli”. “Music should help address societal issues that are affecting the community,” says house musician Meshack Nemakhavhani, better known as Mesh De Vocalist. The musician from Tshaulu Buluni has released a new album, titled “Mbilu I Khombo”.
Musician and actor Mpho Majiga is quickly emerging as the next king of disco on the South African music scene. The position became available after the passing of the late, self-styled king of disco, the legendary Dan Tshanda.
