Ready for the legal arena is Adv Thilivhali Mulaudzi, who was recently admitted as advocate to the High Court.

Politician now an advocate

An EFF member of parliament, Mr Thilivhali Elphus Mulaudzi, is a man of big dreams and he works hard to achieve them.

In 2012, he missed being admitted as an advocate to the High Court by a whisker. This did not deter this highly qualified man, and he surged on in life in a situation that seemed impossible.

Also known as Gwamasenga, the outspoken Member of Parliament finally had his day when the Limpopo High Court in Polokwane recently admitted him as advocate.

Mulaudzi of Shayandima, whose motto in life is Perseverance is the mother of success, Patience pays, Push and succeed against all odds, said his admission as advocate opened a new chapter in his life and he would like to work as a magistrate one day. He has also his eyes set on having his own law firm and ultimately becoming a High Court and Constitutional Court judge.

He says his main inspiration is drawn from Apostle Maxwell Masakona's book, Succeed against all odds.

Mulaudzi obtained his BA Criminal Justice, BA Crim (Hons) and LLB at the University of Venda. He has countless diplomas and certificates from different institutions, among them the University of Johannesburg, University of Pretoria and the University of South Africa.

He worked as a traffic officer, senior provincial inspector and principal provincial inspector at the Department of Roads and Transport of Limpopo. He also worked as a part-time senior instructor/facilitator and assessor (transport training) at Primeserv Training, chief traffic and licensing officer and manager of traffic police at the Thulamela Municipality until 2014, when he became a Member of Parliament.
