Zwivhuya Khomola, a 20-year-old from Elim, is proud to be a finalist in the Miss Makhado Royal pageant. For Zwivhuya, the competition is about more than just beauty; it is a platform to promote unity and celebrate diversity.

“I want to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness and foster a culture where everyone feels valued,” said Zwivhuya, who began her modelling journey at 17. She is currently studying translation and linguistics at the University of Limpopo.

Being a finalist in Miss Makhado Royal is one of Zwivhuya’s proudest achievements, but she has her sights set even higher. “My ultimate goal is to create a world where everyone feels accepted and valued for their differences. I want to inspire others to embrace who they are and foster a culture of respect and unity.”

When asked about her secret to success, Zwivhuya highlighted authenticity and resilience. “Staying true to my beliefs and working hard have been key. I set clear goals and remain focused on achieving them,” she said.

Despite the challenges she has faced in the modelling industry, Zwivhuya remains dedicated to her mission. “There’s a lot of pressure to conform, but I stay true to myself. I focus on my mission and lean on my family for support – they’ve always been there for me,” she added.
