UPDATE ON CROCODILE ATTACK: Woman's remains recovered

 

UPDATE:

The police in Thohoyandou managed to recover the remains of the 52-year-old woman from Malavuwe Village who was snatched by a crocodile.

The woman has been identified as Ms Tendani Singo.

According to provincial police spokesperson Lt-Col Moatshe Ngoepe, she and a friend were busy collecting water from the Mutshindudi River on Sunday, 19 November.

“While the women were busy collecting the water, the crocodile grabbed the 52-year-old woman and dragged her under the water,” said Ngoepe.
