Plus Size women to show off their beauty

Mudifho Empire will host their second annual Miss Venda Plus-Size beauty pageant on Saturday at Villarikhs Park, Tshikuwi.

The founder of Mudifho Empire, Nadney Mulaudzi, said the purpose of the pageant was to empower, encourage and give opportunity to plus-size women to showcase their beauty. "We believe that size has nothing to do with beauty; everyone is beautiful," he said.

"We all know that beauty pageants used to be stereotyped and give the spotlight to the slender ladies, and that made our society to take slender ladies as beautiful, and it's not true. Now we are changing that mindset through Miss Venda Plus Size."

Local artists such as Ramzeey, Mizo Phyll, Batondy, and Pro Heed will entertain the attendants.

The event is scheduled to start at 17:00. The general tickets are R50 and VIP tickets R100. For more information contact Nadney Mulaudzi on 076 948 9645.
