Tshidino wants to get entertainment industry out of Covid-19 slump

Tshidino Ndou, former communications manager of TTM, has no intention of scaling down and sitting around idly while waiting for things to happen. His immediate plans are to focus on the entertainment industry, using his skills and experience to lift this industry out of its Covid-19 slump.

Ndou resigned as spokesperson for the Premier Soccer League club a fortnight ago. “My immediate plan is to focus on the entertainment industry, which was disrupted by Covid-19,” he said in an interview this week. Ndou is an experienced film producer and a musician.

“It’s good that musicians are now permitted to host music events. Filmmakers, on the other hand, are allowed to resume with film productions, but the social distancing measures that are applicable are still a challenge,” he says.

Ndou plans to start with production of a film that revolves around the coronavirus pandemic. He is realistic about the restrictions, such as that no more than 100 people are allowed to be on set. For him, however, this is a challenge that he does not shy away from.
