Makhado and Hot Spurs in a draw

Mikhado FC shared the glory with Tshituni Hot Stars with a 2-all draw in their MMK Administrators match at Rabali on Saturday.

Stars did not stop fighting, despite the fact that two of their key players, Rabelani Mathalise and Mureo Munyai, were reprimanded with yellow cards in the opening minutes of the game. They committed suicide, however, by allowing the Mikhado dribbling wizards, Rabelani Thavhana and Zwivhuya Mbadaliga, to do as they pleased. It took Mikhado 24th minutes to open their account. Rabelani Thavhana scored from a free kick and beat the keeper of Stars, Hector Khauli, with a half volley. Stars equalised through Mureo Munyai, after he received a pre-cooked pass from Remember Nevari.

Lufuno Ndou of Mikhado was reprimanded with a card for wasting time in the 34th minute. Stars then took the game to their opponents. They found their second goal through their captain, Nicolus Tshishonga. He blasted in a rocket from the edge of the box.

Early in the second half, Mikhado introduced three new faces, Mpho Mavhandu, Edgar Mafunisa and Vuledzani Mahosi for Lufuno Ndou, Zhifhufheli Phathusthedzo and Zwivhuya Mbadaliga respectively. Stars continued to dominate proceedings as the game progressed but were denied several sure goals by Mikhado’s acrobatic keeper, Mukovhe Mphaga.

Mikhado found the equalizer in the 84th minute, when Arnot Dzaga headed home after a square pass from Aluwani Nedzamba.
