Dynamos and Peace Makers in a 1-1 draw

In their MMK Administrators League match at the Tshivhazwaulu grounds on Sunday, Shayandima Dynamos held the league title chasers, Tshivhazwaulu Peace Makers, to a thrilling 1-1 draw.

The game was evenly contested from the onset. It took the home side only three minutes to open their account. They were awarded a corner kick after a defender of Dynamos, Ndivhuwo Leshiba, deflected the ball back in an attempt to clear. Tshifhango Mulaudzi hooked in the ball after a scramble within the box.

Peace Makers nearly increased the margin in the 24^th minute when Fhatuwani Mathivha went loose from the right corner and dished a square pass to Michael Ndou. He fumbled until he lost possession. Peace Makers enjoyed their 1-0 lead until proceedings for the first half came to an end.

The visitors from Shayandima came back strongly in the last half. They replaced Takalani Madzena and Murendeni Seotho with Fhulufhelo Mudau and Ndivhuwo Mahwasane respectively and the home responded by introducing Ntsieni Makhado and Rabelani Nkhumeleni for Michael Ndou and Mpho Khadziandi respectively.

Dynamos’ overlapping defender, Murunwa Khavhadi, finally scored the equalizer in the 69^th minute. He headed home, following a square pass from Phathutshedzo Netshikulwe. Dynamos played defensive football after scoring the equalizer in a bid to protect the point.
