Another busy weekend is on the cards for the affiliates of the National First Division. After collecting the maximum points against Mbombela United, whom they beat 1-0 in their opening fixture at the Kanyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit last Saturday, Black Leopards are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for their next fixture, against Ubuntu Cape Town at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Ubuntu Cape Town or FC Cape Town as they were formerly known, are in a bad mood after giving away points to Stellenbosch FC, who beat them 2-1 in their opening match at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town on Monday.

A quick glance at the Leopards show room reveals that they have a lot to be proud of. Lidoda Duvha acquired the services of nine experienced players to replace the ones who were released at the end of last season. Some of their new faces include Marubini Manyane from Blue Stars, Jupiter Ngwenya from Highlands Park, Thembisani Nevhulamba and Isaac Masia, both from Magezi FC.

Nevhulamba is expected to form a deadly combination with Mwape Musonda and Ivan Mahangwahaya at the forefront.

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila will fly to Mthatha for their match against Mthatha Bucks at the Mthatha Stadium, also on Sunday. Jomo Cosmos will host University of Pretoria at the Olën Park Stadium in Potchefstroom. Highlands Park will travel to Pietermaritzburg, where they will play against Royal Eagles at the Harry Gwala Stadium.

Real Kings will host Witbank Spurs at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban. The NFD rookies, Uthongathi FC, will meet Stellenbosch FC at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town. Super Eagles and Mbombela United will battle it out for league points at the Goble Park Stadium in Bethlehem.

The only match that will be played this evening will be between Cape Town All Stars and Richards Bay FC at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.
