Can Peace Makers stop Nandilani?

This weekend will be a busy one for the teams affiliated to the MMK Administrators Soccer League. Most of the teams will play two matches.

Tshakhuma RO Nandilani are gearing up for a home match against Tswinga Peace Makers at the Tshakhuma Malaria grounds tomorrow. Although they must still play seven matches before the end of the season, Nandilani need only three points to be crowned the Stream D champions.

On the other hand, Peace Makers’ future as an affiliate of the MMK Administrators Soccer League hangs in the balance. Peace Makers are in the 3rd position from the bottom of the log with 22 points, three ahead of the tail-enders, Mutsha Atlantis Stars. It will be players like Dakalo “Akonkwo” Nemakonde, Rofhiwa “Danger” Netshiungani and Lufuno “CJ” Mugodi on whom Nandilani will pin their hopes for goals.

The other Stream D title chasers, Gwamasenga United Brothers, will be away to Zwavhavhili village where they will meet Voweto Maximum Force. Maximum Force are fighting for survival as they are lying in the 4th position from the bottom of the log.

After beating Dididi Manguvhewa 5-0 at the Makhuvha Stadium last Sunday, United Artists will play another league match at home tomorrow. They will host Mulenzhe Shooting Stars at the same venue.

The Stream B pace setters, Phandulaluvalo FC, will travel to Tshidzini Young Fighters. Nweli Stone Breakers will play against Dobby Freedom Birds at the Maniini grounds.

The other fixtures are: Ngwenani Young Chiefs vs Themba Sunrise Riders, Nweli Stone Breakers vs Marula XI, Ngovhela Backside vs Maranzhe Hungry Lions, Tshikhwani Stone Breakers vs Midoroni Real Hearts, Makhitha Oscar Stars vs Manavhela Black Aces, Makhitha Iya Runga vs Western Stars, Muwaweni Lucky Stars vs Mukondeni Shooting Stars, Nzhelele Home Sweepers vs Dopeni Mighty Comrades, Tshivhilidulu Hungry Lions vs Rabali Pull Together, Muswodi Happy Fighters vs Tshilamusi Super Eagles and Igwe FC vs Tshiungani Young Chiefs.
