Will the Morning Stars shine over the students?

With the Sasol Women’s League programme for the current season coming to an end in a few weeks’ time, the struggle will continue among the teams affiliated to the Limpopo Stream this week.

All eyes will be on the match between Samba Girls and First Touch Academy at the Raliphaswa grounds tomorrow afternoon.

Samba Girls will be fighting for survival, while Academy must win the match at all cost to maintain their leadership on the log. Should they get maximum points at the expense of Samba Girls, First Touch’s wish will be to see Maindis drop points in their match against Re Tla Dira Ladies at the Dipitsi grounds.

Although Academy are currently leading the pack, beating the Samba Girls will be a difficult task. Samba Girls have a reputation of giving the opposition tough times at home.

Shayandima Morning Stars have reason to believe that they will deposit full points into their league account this weekend. They will host the University of Limpopo at the Guvhukuvhu grounds. The students are down in the relegation zone, while Morning Stars are one of the league contenders.

After beating Sisters FC 1-0 at the Makhuvha Stadium last Sunday, Chippas United Ladies will play away from home this weekend. They will play against Seven Stars Ladies at the Ga-Maleka grounds outside Jane Furse.

Botlokwa Ladies will host Moria Sweepers at the Sefene School grounds. Mandebele Happy Fighters will have a date with Mphanama Ladies at the Mphanama grounds, and Real Mighty Ladies will play against Kanatla Ladies at the Mabalane grounds.

In the last game of the weekend, Sisters FC will have a date with Tshandama Young Stars at the Nwamitwa grounds.
