TTM to host Ubuntu in Nedbank Cup

After losing 0-1 to Ubuntu Cape Town in their National First Division League match at the Boland Stadium in Cape Town two weeks ago, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) told themselves that they would exact revenge when Ubuntu paid them a visit in their second-round league match next year.

The Tshakhuma-based side has been accorded an early opportunity to do so.

This after the Nedbank Cup qualifications draw on Monday evening matched the two sides. Fortunately for TTM, it will be a home fixture for them and it will be staged at the Thohoyandou Stadium next Sunday, 2 December.

According to the marketing manager of TTM, Mr Livhuwani Madzuhe, nothing will stop them from kicking out Ubuntu and securing a place in the top 32 stage of the competition.

Madzuhue further stated that TTM would be welcoming their right back, Happy Mashau, back to the team in their match against Ubuntu.

Cape Umoya United will host TS Sporting at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town on Saturday, 1 December. On the same day, Jomo Cosmos will rub shoulders with Real Kings at the Vosloorus Stadium in Johannesburg.

Richards Bay FC were matched against the other KwaZulu Natal side, Royal Eagles. This match will be played at the Umhlatuze Sports Complex in Richards Bay. The league’s pace setters, Stellenbosch FC, will entertain Mbombela United at the Cape Town Stadium.

Witbank Spurs are gearing up for a home match against Uthongathi FC at the Puma Rugby Stadium in eMalahleni. Ajax Cape Town and TS Galaxy will meet in Siyabuswa. Ajax were still to appoint a new coach at the time of our going to press after parting ways with Mr Mushin Ertugral two weeks ago.

University of Pretoria will host Maccabi FC at the Absa Tuks Stadium in Pretoria.
