Leopards and Arrows in Diski clash

With four matches remaining before the league programme of the Multichoice Diski Challenge comes to an end, the struggle for points will continue this weekend. After playing two matches away from home in a row, Black Leopards will play in front of their home crowd this weekend.

They will host Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow morning at 10:00.

Things are fast going from bad to worse in the Leopards camp. They are languishing at the bottom of the log with six points. Lidoda Duvha have won only one league match to date. The only time they tasted victory was when they beat the newly promoted Highlands Park FC 4-1 at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa two weeks ago.

The Thohoyandou outfit suffered a 1-3 defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria last Saturday. Justice Letwaba scored the only goal, while David Solomons, Abram Molefe and Eric Hlope scored for Sundowns.

Xolani Ndlovu, Justice Letwaba and Thembisani Nevhulamba are poised to give the Arrows defence a run for their money tomorrow.

The pace setters, Cape Town City, will battle it out with Bloemfontein Celtic, while Kaizer Chiefs will host Polokwane City. The other fixtures are: Maritzburg United vs SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits vs Baroka FC, Mamelodi Sundowns vs Free State Stars and Highlands Park vs Orlando Pirates.
