Can TRON beat Mighty FC?

After beating Magezi FC 2-3 at the Ha-Manamela grounds last Saturday, it remains to be seen whether Tshakhuma RO Na Ndilani (TRON) will continue to enhance their chances to escape the relegation axe when they meet Mighty FC in their ABC Motsepe League match at the Tshisaulu Mmbengeni Kone Sports Field tomorrow afternoon.

With only four matches remaining before the league programme comes to an end, TRON must win at least three of their remaining matches to be on the safe side when it comes to relegation. The Tshakhuma side are currently in the second-last position on the log with 23 points. TRON are two points behind Polokwane City Academy and three behind Great North FC.

Should they manage to beat Mighty FC tomorrow and Polokwane City Academy and Great North FC lose their matches, TRON will jump from the 15th to the 13th position on the log standings.

Mighty must keep a watchful eye on TRON’s stars, Khuliso Phosiwa, Oscar Mtshauba, Rinae Madzhuta and Dakalo Nemakonde, or else they will not know what had hit them when the referee blows the final whistle.

The other Vhembe-based side, Mikhado FC, will pay a visit to Magezi FC at the TT Cholo Stadium outside Polokwane. A win for Mikhado will be enough to keep the Nzhelele Valley side’s title hopes alive. Mikhado are in the fourth  position with 53 points, five behind the pace setters, Madridtas FC.

Madridtas will host Ndengeza FC at the Oscar Mphatha Stadium in Turfloop. The Polokwane derby between Great North FC and Polokwane City Academy will be staged at the Seshego Stadium.

The other ABC Motsepe League weekend fixtures are: Ditlou FC vs The Dolphins FC, Boyne Tigers vs Barracah Valley FC, Giyani Hotspurs vs Ollesdal FC and Pusela City vs Polokwane United.
