Teams to register for tournament

The MJN Foundation is inviting eight teams that are playing under the Makhado Local Football Association and eight from Safa Vhembe SAB league, as well as netball teams, to register for the MJN Soccer and Netball Challenge.

The joining fee for SAB teams is R1 200 per team and for the MLFA teams is R750.

The first prize for the SAB teams is R10 000, a floating trophy, gold medals and a new soccer kit. The second prize is R5 000, silver medals and a new soccer kit, while the third prize is R3 000 and bronze medals. The team that will finish in fourth place will receive R2 000.

The champions in the MLFA division will receive R5 000, a soccer kit, gold medals and a floating trophy. The runners-up will receive R3 000, silver medals and a soccer kit. The third-placed team will get R2 000 and bronze medals, while the team in fourth position will receive R1 500.

The joining fee for the netball competition is R500 and the winners of the netball will receive R3 000, gold medals, a netball kit and gold medals. The runners-up will receive R1 500, silver medals and a netball kit, while the team that will finish in third position will receive R1 000. There will also be a competition for U/15 soccer teams.  For more information phone 072 051 2693 or 076 374 7525.
