This weekend will be a busy one for the teams affiliated with the Limpopo stream of the Sasol Women’s League. Five matches will be played on Saturday, while three are scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
The match not to be missed will be between Sinthumulekutama FC and Sisters FC at the Sinthumule High School grounds on Saturday. It will be the second away fixture in a row for Sisters. Last Saturday, Sisters managed to beat Tshandama Young Stars 1-0 at the Tshandama Grounds.
Beating Sinthumulekutama on Saturday will keep Sisters’ promotion hopes alive. Sinthumulekutama and Sisters are closely contesting for the league title, with Sinthumulekutama shining at the top of the log.
Lacoste Morning Stars will play in front of their home crowd when they host Merwe United Ladies at the Shayandima High School Grounds. Merwe failed to impress their home supporters last Saturday when they lost 1-2 to Rodadau FC at the Merwe Grounds. Merwe are battling to find a winning combination this season. The Malamulele side is still to win a league match so far, having managed to collect only three points in 13 matches.
Tshandama Young Stars will be on the road on Saturday. They will visit Sealene Ladies at the Sealene Sports Grounds in Phalaborwa.
Sunday will see Real Mighty Ladies lock horns with Masakona Liberty Experience at the Xikukwani Stadium outside Giyani. The other fixtures are Dinaledi Ladies vs. Golden Diamonds Ladies, Mandebele Happy Fighters Ladies vs. University of Limpopo, and Marumo Gallants vs. Ramatlaohle Ladies.

As South Africa continues its pursuit of economic growth and industrial sustainability, attention is being drawn to a crucial yet often overlooked segment of the workforce: artisans. Acknowledging this need, the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA) has become a major role player in the Decade of the Artisan (DoA) initiative of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
