Big prizes at Liguluvhe Tournament

 

The Liguluvhe Easter Soccer Tournament was officially launched during a ceremony held at Munau Primary in Ramantsha on Sunday, 10 March. Sixteen teams from around Sinthumule and Kutama, who play in the Makhado LFA and Safa Vhembe Hollywoodbets league, will compete for prizes and trophies.

One of the coordinators of the tournament, Mr Rendani Mutheiwana, announced that the champions will receive R25,000, in addition to a floating trophy, gold medals, and soccer kit. The runners-up will be awarded R20,000, a soccer kit, and silver medals. The third- and fourth-placed teams will each receive R5,000 and a soccer kit.

The draws for the opening matches were conducted during the ceremony. The opening matches will be played at Ramantsha Skomboys Grounds and Ramantsha Blackpool on 29 March, with the semi-finals and final scheduled for 31 March.

During the ceremony, the tournament's secretary, Mr Scara Masala, urged club representatives to conduct themselves well throughout the tournament. He emphasised that any misconduct could tarnish the reputation of both the organisers and the sponsors.

- Madombidzha Chris United vs Mubva All Stars at 13:30

- Ramantsha Blackpool vs Gogobole Bucs at 15:30.
