Dakalo "Akonkwo" Nemakonde and Rofhiwa "Danger" Netshiungani were unstoppable when their team, Tshakhuma Na Ndilani (TNN), crushed Tshivhazwaulu Peace Makers 4-1 in their MMK Administrators League match at the Levubu Stadium on Saturday.

Nemakonde and Netshiungani scored two goals apiece. The score was not a true reflection of the game as TNN could have scored more than half a dozen goals. Netshiungani, a very experienced striker, wasted numerous scoring opportunities.

It took TNN only seven minutes to open their account. Nemakonde received a neat pass from Netshiungani and blasted in a rocket from close range. The keeper of Peace Makers, Phumudzo Mulaudzi, watched helplessly as the ball went beyond his reach.

TNN came close to scoring on three successive occasions, with Netshiungani the culprit in all instances. He received a neat pass from Gift Nemutandani in the 24th minute and fumbled in front of the stranded keeper. He committed two similar blunders before the referee blew the half-time whistle.

Peace Makers approached the last stanza with more self-confidence, forcing the home side to play with their backs against the wall. It came as no surprise when a defender of TNN, Tsepo Makgoga, handled the ball within his own penalty box. That was a clear penalty for Peace Makers. Their keeper, Phumudzo Mulaudzi, converted from the white spot.

The goal seemed to have been an insult to the TNN strikers. They reclaimed the lead through Netshiungani in the 69th minute. Netshiungani was in the thick of things again moments thereafter. He gave the ball a final touch, following a square pass from Nemakonde. TNN replaced Oscar Ntshauba with their diminutive midfielder, Maboho Nevari, late in the game.

Netshiungani dished a pre-cooked pass to Nemakonde, who completed his brace with a half volley in the 84th minute.
