The soccer legend visited the area as part of his benefit year. He interacted with his fans and also addressed businesspeople of Limpopo about the role businesspeople can play in the development of younger people in different sporting codes.
Radebe also visited patients at Polokwane Hospital and proceeded to other venues for autograph sessions.
Radebe indicated that his mission to visit the province is aimed at unearthing talent in and around South Africa. “We need to invest in youngsters who will dish out quality, entertaining and competitive football. In an interview with Mirror, Radebe said his objective is to see younger players play in the elite league in the coming years.
Radebe further said that his road show focuses on raising money that would help different charity organisation and orphans. “I was touched when I saw those younger children suffering from HIV/Aids and children who were dumped or had lost their parents.”
