Rangers showed that they meant business from the word go by going forward fiercely. That led to the handling of the ball inside the penalty box by the Dynamos defender, Lifa Qosha, in the second minute. The referee, Daniel Bennet, did not hesitate to point at the spot.
Kerryn Jordaan made no mistake in putting his side in the lead. Dynamos refused to recognize Rangers as their betters and they fought back eight minutes thereafter. Nicholas Mkhabela headed home David Mathebula's well-taken cross.
Rangers were back in the driving seat three minutes later when Kerryn Jordaan scored his second goal, after receiving a neat pass from Alton Meiring. Dynamos came close to scoring again in the 24th minute when Nicholas Mkhabela's shot hit the woodwork with the Rangers goalkeeper beaten hands down.
Jordaan completed his hat trick in the 39th minute after dodging the Dynamos keeper, Aime Kitenge, before firing into an open net. The score was 3-1 at half time. In the 67th minute, Alton Meiring scored the Maulers' fourth goal when he finished off a neat cross from Jordaan.
The three-goal hero was substituted two minutes later for Dale Studzinski who scored in the 74th minute with his first touch. The defeat has increased the relegation woes for Dynamos as they are now third from the bottom of the Castle Premiership table.
