After donating significant league points to Giyani Happy Boys, to whom they lost 0-1 in their ABC Motsepe League match at the Makhuvha Stadium last Saturday, United Artists have another mountain to climb this weekend. They will host Vondwe XI Bullets at the same venue on Saturday afternoon.
United Artists must collect the full points at stake to enhance their chances to escape the relegation axe, come end of the season. Things are not going according to plan in the Artists' camp. The Lufule side are still to register a win this season. United Artists are perched in the second-last position with only one point.
Vondwe XI Bullets are sharpened to kill this season. They were leading the pack with seven points before their 0-1 defeat against Madridtas FC at the Tshifudi Stadium last Saturday.
Madridtas FC are bracing themselves for a tough match. They will host Musina United at the Tshifudi Stadium. United will not find containing Madridtas' playmakers, Ntanganedzeni Mudau and Rinae Majuta, easy. Madridtas' goalkeeper, Rudzani Mmbengeni, is no ordinary keeper but an acrobat.
Giyani Happy Boys will fight for league points with Maruleng Celtic at the Xikukwani Stadium outside Giyani. Winners Park FC will have a date with Munaca FC at the Westfalia Stadium outside Tzaneen. The pace setters, Emmanuel FC, will visit Mpheni Home Defenders at the Mpheni Grounds. Home Defenders are still fresh from a 2-1 victory over Musina United.
