The Hollywoodbets Super League teams will play the last of their first-round league matches this weekend. Seven matches will be played at different places countrywide on Saturday afternoon, while only one fixture is scheduled for Sunday.

With things moving from bad to worse in their camp, whether Maindis Ladies will manage to make a comeback and collect the full points at stake when they meet TUT FC at the Giyani Stadium on Saturday remains to be seen. Maindis once again resembled a punching bag in their game against University of Pretoria FC, to whom they lost 0-7 at the Absa Tuks Stadium in Pretoria last Saturday.

Although time is fast running out for them, the chairman of Maindis Ladies, Mr Falaza Mdaka, is adamant that his side will manage to collect enough points in their remaining fixtures and restore the team's lost pride. He said that they would register a number of experienced players when the registration window opened. He appealed to the team's supporters to be patient. Mdaka also warned TUT FC not to underestimate them simply because they were rooted at the bottom of the log standings with 6 points.

The other Limpopo-based side, First Touch Academy, will host University of Pretoria FC at the Seshego Stadium in Polokwane. The newcomers, Copper Belts FC, will entertain TS Galaxy Queens at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Durban Ladies will host UWC at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban. Durban Ladies are still in a joyous mood after beating Coal City Wizards 4-2 at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Emalahleni last Saturday.

City Lads will fight for league points against Coal City Wizards at the Mahikeng Stadium in the North West. The only fixture scheduled for Sunday will be between Richmond United and Royal AM at the Galeshewe Stadium in Kimberley. The other fixtures are JVW FC vs University of Johannesburg FC and Thunderbirds Ladies vs Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies.
