Another victory for Leopards?

Lamontville Golden Arrows will be lucky if they manage to hold Black Leopards to a draw when they meet in their Absa Premiership League match at the Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) evening.

Lamontville Golden Arrows will be lucky if they manage to hold Black Leopards to a draw when they meet in their Absa Premiership League match at the Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) evening.

Arrows are coming to Thohoyandou at a time when Lidoda Duvha seem to be unstoppable.

The Thohoyandou outfit are still to lose a league match under the guidance of the team's new head coach, Mr Dylan Kerr. The Englishman has steered Leopards to three victories and a draw since he joined the club early last month.

Arrows' head coach, Mr Stephen Komphela, stated that he was aware of Leopards' latest track record and that he had watched several of Leopards' games on TV. He mentioned that he knew exactly what Leopards' weak and strong points were.

Leopards are in the 11th position on the log and Arrows in the 10th spot on the log with 19 and 20 points respectively. Black Leopards have played one match fewer than Arrows.

Leopards will be without their playmaker, Phathutshedzo Nange, tomorrow. Nange signed a pre-season contract with Bidvest Wits last week. Lehlohonolo Masalesa and Tswarelo Bereng are expected to do the job in the absence of Nange.

Arrows' forwards will have a tough time against Leopards' defenders, Marks Munyai, Pentjie Zulu and Nyiko Sibanda.

Chippa United will play against Maritzburg United in Port Elizabeth in the other match that will be played tomorrow. Supersport United will host Bloemfontein Celtic in Pretoria on Sunday.

The fixtures for next Tuesday (January 22) are: Highlands Park vs Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates vs Baroka FC.
