The artists include Colbert Mukwevho, Malondolo, Cornestone, Khakhathi and Friends, Irene Mawela and many more.
According to the chairperson of Nambidzandevhula, Mr Avha Tshisevhe, the festival started five years ago and gained momentum in terms of participation and attendance, despite not being taken seriously by some groups within the media sector.
"The festival aims to provide a development platform for the growing number of local artists. We see the event as contributing to social cohesion and nation building, while entrenching our African identity through musical performances," he said.
He added that the main aim was not to make profit from this festival, but to market "our Vhembe region and show our talent."
He said they had improved on last year and that it would be all systems go this year. "Each year comes with its challenges," he added, "but we have improved two-fold in terms of parking, security and all other measures that will make revellers feel at home."
The admission fee will be R100 and the gates will be open at 12:00 and close at 06:00 the following morning.
