Bail hearing in alleged wife murderer case postponed

A man accused of murdering his wife saw his bail application postponed until April 26. He remains in custody following the incident that occurred in late March.

The Dzanani Magistrate’s Court on Friday morning (10 April) postponed the bail application of a 32-year-old man accused of murdering his wife. Proceedings are set to resume on 26 April.

Rendani Davhana faces a murder charge following the death of his 28-year-old wife, Unarine Raphulu. The incident reportedly took place at their residence in Tshirolwe village, Nzhelele, on 28 March.

The case returned to court for the continuation of bail arguments but was postponed to allow outstanding procedural issues to be finalised.

Davhana remains in custody and is expected back in court later this month, when his bail application will continue.
