The teams campaigning under the banner of the Sasol Women's League in the Limpopo Stream are gearing up for their second round of league matches that will be played at different venues throughout the province over the weekend. Most of the matches will be played on Saturday, while only two fixtures are scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
After donating vital points to Two for Joy Ladies FC, to whom they lost 0-1 at the Shayandima School Grounds last Sunday, Lacoste Morning Stars are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for their next fixture. They will travel to Tshandama in the Mutale area on Saturday. Their match against Tshandama Young Stars will be played at the Tshandama Makhithani Grounds.
Young Stars started the new season with a draw. They managed to hold Masakona Liberty Experience to a 1-1 draw at the Masakona Grounds last Saturday. Stopping Morning Stars' goal poachers, Unarine Nembaleni and Mulalo Mufanadzo, will not be an easy task for the defenders of Young Stars.
Rodadau FC will battle with Merwe United Ladies at the Tshitungulwane Grounds in the Vuwani area. Merwe are still struggling to find a winning combination. They were brutally walloped 1-5 by Sisters FC at the Bolobedu Grounds outside Tzaneen in their opening game last Saturday.
Sealene Ladies will play against Masakona Liberty Experience at the Lulekani Stadium in Phalaborwa. Real Mighty Girls will enjoy the home-ground advantage in their match against Phomolong Ladies, which will be played at the Xikukwani Stadium outside Giyani.
The other fixtures are Sisters FC vs Two for Joy, University of Limpopo FC vs FC 50 Stars United, Ramatlaohle Ladies vs Kanatla Ladies, Marumo Gallants vs Mandebele Happy Fighters Ladies and Schoonoord Chiefs vs Seven Stars Ladies.
