Black Leopards must beat Bidvest Wits when they meet in their Absa Premiership League match at the Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow evening if they are serious about escaping the relegation axe at the end of the season.

With the new head coach, Mr Dylan Kerr, on the Leopards' technical bench for the first time tomorrow, the local lads have reason to believe that Wits will be lucky if by chance they manage to go back to Johannesburg with a draw.

Kerr said that he was impressed by the players' performance at training sessions and that the "men had easily adapted" to his philosophy. He revealed that his team had played a friendly game against Polokwane City under his guidance last week and that the players had demonstrated a spirit of commitment in that game.

The soft-spoken Englishman, however, admitted that some departments needed to be beefed up. He said that, for now, he would be working with what was available.

The players from the Golden City are still battling to come to terms with their 0-1 defeat at the hands of Baroka FC in their Telkom semi-final match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane last Sunday.

As for the coach of Bidvest Wits, Mr Gavin Hunt, it will be a home-away-from-home experience tomorrow. Hunt was the first coach to guide Lidoda Duvha after the Thohoyandou outfit gained promotion to the Absa Premiership Division for the first time 12 years ago.

The game is scheduled to start at 20:15.

The PSL rookies Highlands Park will take on Cape Town City at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa. Lamontville Golden Arrows are awaiting Kaizer Chiefs at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban.

The match between Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United will be played at the Orlando Stadium. The spirit is high in the Pirates camp after they beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 in their Telkom Cup semi-final match last weekend.

SuperSport United will host Mamelodi Sundowns at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in the only match that will be played on Sunday afternoon.
