Black Leopards have reason to believe that they will collect the maximum points at the expense of JDR Stars, with whom they will rub shoulders in their Motsepe Foundation Championship League match at the Malamulele Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
A quick glance at the track record of Black Leopards shows that Stars will be lucky if by chance they manage to go back home with a point in hand. Lidoda duvha collected five points and scored four goals in their last three matches. They beat Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 1-0 at the Thohoyandou Stadium before they played to a goalless draw with Magesi FC at the Malamulele Stadium. They let University of Pretoria FC off the hook with a 3-3 draw at the Absa Tuks Stadium in Pretoria last Friday.
The team's head coach, Mr Joel Masutha, is adamant that JDR Stars will go back to the capital city with empty hands. According to him, they were working on different defence strategies at their training sessions throughout the week.
He said that the team's failure to defend their 3-0 lead in their game against Amatuks was a bitter pill to swallow to everyone in the camp. JDR had played against Venda Football Academy at the Soshanguve Giant Stadium outside Pretoria on Wednesday afternoon. (The result of the game was not available at the time of our going to press).
Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila will travel to Kimberly on Sunday. Their match against Hungry Lions will be played at the Galeshewe Stadium.
