THOHOYANDOU – After beating Dynamos 2-1 in their friendly match at the Thohoyandou Stadium last Wednesday, Black Leopards went on to beat Moroka Swallows FC 3-2 in the other rehearsal match that was played at the same venue on Sunday.

Leopards' left flank, Richard Lishivha, opened the scoring in the 11th minute. Godfrey Ramudzuli, the overlapping defender, tried his luck from a distance and the Swallows keeper fumbled with the ball, resulting in a rebound. Lishivha, who was in the perfect scoring position, scored.

Swallows refused to recognize Leopards as their superiors. They retaliated six minutes thereafter. Their former Manning Rangers striker, Keryn Jordaan, blasted in a rocket, after receiving a neat pass from Lucas Sebone.

The homeside replaced the injured Richard Lishivha with their Liberian new signee, William Fahnbulleh, in the 20th minute.

The homeboys took the lead again in the 25th minute. Their Swaziland allrounder, Wonder Nhleko, released a ground cutter from the right corner and the Swallows' keeper, Conrad Hendricks, dived in the opposite direction. Leopards were still 2-1 up at half time.

Both sides effected several changes in the second half. Lucas Sebone scored the Swallows' equalizer in the 78th minute. Leopards scored the winning goal through Mulondo Sikhwivhilu three minutes before full time. Swallows had lost 0-4 to Dynamos the previous day.
