Black Leopards will play their first home match for the current season at the Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow afternoon. They will host Jomo Cosmos.
It will be time for Black Leopards to restore their lost pride after giving away points to Amazulu in their opening match at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban two weeks ago.
Jomo Cosmos drew 1-1 with FC Cape Town at the Olën Park Stadium in Potchefstroom in their opening league match. It remains to be seen whether the Cosmos defenders will be able to stop Leopards' fast forwards, Roggert Nyundu, Leonard Ntshangase and Thembisani Nevhulamba. Leopards' killer striker, Roggert Nyundu, promised the fans that he would score at least 25 goals this season. Nyundu scored Lidoda Duvha's solitary goal when they lost 1-2 to Amazulu a fortnight ago.
The spokesperson for Leopards, Mr Berry Ramunenyiwa, appealed to the supporters to buy tickets at Computicket, saying no tickets would be sold at the stadium. The gates will open at 10:00 and the kickoff time is 15:00.
Mthatha Bucks will undertake a journey to Emalahleni, where they will lock horns with Witbank Spurs at the Puma Rugby Stadium. FC Cape Town will enjoy the home-ground advantage in their match against Magezi FC at the NNK Rugby Stadium in Cape Town. Stellenbosch FC will host of University of Pretoria at the Coetzenberg Stadium in Stellenbosch.
Mbombela United will host Milano United at the Kanyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit. The rookies, Real Kings, will play in front of their home crowd. They will entertain Santos at the Sugar Ray Zulu Stadium in Durban. Sunday will see Thanda Royal Zulu host Royal Eagles at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex in Richards Bay. Cape Town All Stars and Amazulu will fight for league points at the Parow Park Stadium in Cape Town.
