After a break of about two months, teams affiliated with the SAFA Vhembe Regional League will return to action this Sunday.
Sparks are expected to fly in the Tshakhuma derby between Tshakhuma Blue Birds and Vhembe Tron at the Tshakhuma Tshidiamagedeba Grounds. Vhembe Tron started the new season on a high note, collecting four points from their first two matches. They defeated Vyeboom Marikana 1-0 at the Levubu Stadium in their opening fixture and drew 1-1 with Tshakhuma Young Boys the following weekend.
Muraga Hazard Hotspurs will be hoping to perform miracles when they host Josefa Black Movers at the Muraga Grounds. Hotspurs recently received a financial boost from a local traditional leader, Vhamusanda Vho Ntikedzeni Mphaphuli, who donated R10,000 to the team as a token of appreciation for their achievements in the past season.
