Police in Siloam have launched a manhunt for suspects after an unknown man was found stabbed to death in the early hours of Saturday, March 28. The body was discovered at about 01:00 in the business area of Siloam village, next to shacks along the R523 public road.
The victim has not yet been identified.
Police said the man was wearing a white T-shirt and green trousers and had multiple stab wounds to his upper body. Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene and declared him dead. The motive for the killing remains unknown.
Provincial police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said police are appealing to the public for assistance. “We urge anyone who may have information that can assist in identifying the deceased or lead to the arrest of the suspects to come forward,” said Ledwaba.
