An RnB artist from Madombidzha, Lufuno "Bokha" Mathabela (30), plans on releasing his third album later this year.
Mathabela says that music has always been in his blood. "I started to sing while I was still in high school in Grade 8," he says. His dreams of producing his own album had to wait for a few years until such time as he could gather enough money to pay for the recording.
"I started to fall in love with music when I was inspired by my teacher. She was a sensational singer. Her voice was so eloquent," he says.
According to Mathabela, he is receiving great support from his family and friends. "My parents are so supportive; they are my backbone. My friends have also been motivating me since I began this music journey," he adds.
Mathabela has already released two albums, Vhuyani (come back) and Miloroni (dreams) and he also has one single called Aringa fani. His two albums have been well received by the local communities around Madombidzha.
