Bokisi Scientist silenced the evergreen Mashau Movers 1-0 in their match in the Hlanganani stream of the Makhado Local Football Association at the Mashau grounds on Saturday.

The score was not a true reflection of the game, as Scientists were dictating terms in all departments throughout the game. Norman Mkhari combined well with Gilbert Mbungele and Chester Maluleke in the forefront. Mkhari committed a big blunder when he shot straight to Movers' stranded keeper, Rodney Mulaudzi, in the 20th minute.

Scientist's took the lead in the 37th minute. Chester Maluleke caught the Movers' keeper off guard and blasted in a half-volley from inside the box. Movers missed two clear chances early in the second half, with Fhatani Ravele the culprit in both instances.

Scientist utilized their substitution chances when they introduced Collen Baloyi, Albert Chabalala and Amin Mkhari. Chabalala added more life to the fading midfield with his dribbling skills. Movers were forced to effect a change to their starting line-up when they replaced Rabelani Mufamadi and Mpho Ndou with Arthur Nesamvuni and Lotus Mudau in the 70th minute. Their introduction did not change the flow of the match.

A midfielder of Movers, Collins Maboho, was yellow-carded for tackling Ashley Chauke from behind. Tiyani Baloyi of Scientist was lucky to escape with a yellow card after tackling the Movers midfielder, Dakalo Mukwevho, roughly. Adivhaho Magoro of Movers should have equalised two minutes before the end of the match, but he shot wide.
