Tshifudi Stadium will be the centre of attention tomorrow (Saturday) as the much-awaited final of the Boy Nemakonde KO competition will be staged there.
Tshilonwe Young Bombers and Tshamutshedzi Water Sand will meet in the final. Young Bombers brutally walloped Belavhathu FC 6-2 in their semi-final match at the same venue last Saturday to secure a place in the final.
Tshamutshedzi Water Sand's way to the final went via Munangwe United Brothers, whom they beat 2-1 last Saturday.
A quick glance at the teams' performances in their semi-final matches shows that Water Sand will be lucky if, by chance, they do not concede more than three goals tomorrow. Young Bombers were unstoppable from the onset to the end in their game against Belavhathu, while Water Sand were lucky to find two easy goals against Munangwe United Brothers.
What remains to be seen is whether the Water Sand defenders will have enough strength to stop the Bombers' forwards, Ronewa Mudau, Shadrack Mashaba and Ndamulelo Mudzunga.
Belavhathu FC and Munangwe United Brothers will meet in their losers' final match, which will start at 09:00. The main game is scheduled to start at 14:30.
This year's champions will walk away with a cash prize of R15 000, a floating trophy, soccer kit and six soccer balls. The runners-up will go home with R1 500, soccer kit and six soccer balls. R1 000 and six soccer balls await the winner of the losers' final and the team that finishes in fourth place will receive six soccer balls.
