Tshikhwani Stone Breakers beat Rainbow Sports Academy 1-0 in their MMK Administrators league match at Kutama on Sunday.

Rainbow was only good at the far back and their midfielders hesitated for too long and did not release the ball on time to the goal poachers. Breakers initiated some promising moves from the centre of the pitch, but were denied a number of scoring opportunities by the defence of their opponents.

Ndivhaleni Mukwevho and Ndivhaleni Mukwevho of Breakers were both cautioned with yellow cards, while the same fate befell Tshedza Luvhimbi and Livhuwani Maphaha of Rainbow. The boys from Tshikhwani introduced Sandy Nematandani and Givem Makgoto for Tshifularo Mulaudzi and Ronewa Ratshilingana.

Tondani Mulamu scored his team's only goal in the 66th minute. The goal was a wake-up call to the players of Rainbow, who started to play their normal football afterwards. After the goal, Rainbow came back strongly, but the keeper of Breakers, Andani Phathela, denied them a goal when he fisted Mulalo Mamphpweli's volley away.

The boys from Kutama were lucky not to concede half a dozen of goals during the second half, as they were out of touch in all epartments. Ritshidze Tshitangoni of Rainbow should have equalized late in the match, but his shot went over the bar.
