The affiliates of the Limpopo Stream of the Sasol Women's League will play their last league matches of the season this weekend.
Mandebele Happy Fighters will have to double their effort if they are serious about wrapping up their league programme on a high note. They will visit Morning Stars Lacoste at the Guvhukuvhu grounds outside Thohoyandou. Morning Stars are not easy to beat on their own home soil. The only home match they lost was a 0-1 defeat at the hands of Maindis Ladies early last month.
The Fighters' strikers will have to come up with a strategy to penetrate through the Stars' defenders, Musiiwa Ramaremisa, Phuluso Mothelo and Lindelani Ndou, or else they will go back to Zebediela with empty hands.
Samba Girls will host the Mphanama Ladies at the Raliphaswa grounds in the Nzhelele Valley. It remains to be seen whether the defenders of Mphanama will have enough strength to stop the Samba Girls' playmakers, Murembiwa "Mdu" Mugivhi and Mpho Nemathaga.
Tshandama Young Stars will also play in front of their home crowd. They will entertain the Kanatla Ladies at the Tshandama grounds. Tshandama's performance has been deteriorating in the past weeks and collecting the maximum points against Kanatla will be very difficult for them.
Seven Stars will host Moria Sweepers at the Ga-Malekana grounds in the Sekhukhune area, while Sisters FC will meet the Maindis Ladies at the Nwamitwa grounds.
Real Mighty Ladies will have a date with Re Tla Dira Ladies at the Mabalane grounds outside Giyani. The match between the University of Limpopo FC and First Touch Academy will be played at the Oscar Mphetha Stadium in Turfloop. Chippas United Ladies will host Botlokwa Ladies at the Makhuvha Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
